Hand-thrown on a pottery wheel with a rustic French blue glaze, this large serving bowl brings handmade charm to the table. Measuring 11.5" in diameter and 4.5" tall, the functional bowl is fitting for salads, soups, fruit, pasta, and more. The use of durable stoneware clay allows the serving bowl to be safe for the dishwasher, oven, and microwave. With a decorative edging, the bowl stands strong atop a short pedestal and fits comfortably in the curvature of the arm. Holds 80 ounces (2.5 quarts). Made by hand in the USA. Please note: Due to the handmade process, casual imperfections (variations in shape and color) are to be expected and add to the one-of-a-kind handmade quality. Note: Ceramic stoneware is safe for the oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher, but should not be used with a direct flame or on a stove-top. As with all pottery, the bowl should not be placed in a refrigerator when the surface is hot or in a stove/microwave when chilled. Always begin from room temperature or close to room temperature.
